The founder of Aligned Search, Karen has over 15 years of experience in recruiting. She started her career in 2000 in the engineering field, then moved into corporate recruiting, third party accounting & finance recruiting, and most recently spent seven and half years in the information technology industry. She attributes her success to having a high level of integrity, building strong relationships, having open communication, and consistent follow through. She has worked with leading Fortune 500 companies to small startups, in industries such as: banking/finance, healthcare, trading, software services, media/market research, ecommerce, logistics, and consulting firms. Karen has an excellent track record of high retention of the people she has placed.
A native Chicagoan, when not working Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and bunny, friends and family. She and her husband enjoy everything the city has to offer, and also like to travel both domestically and internationally. Karen believes in giving back, and donates to organizations involved in helping our veterans and animals in need. She also volunteers for those organizations’ special events.
